The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors will meet again for the 3rd time this season. This time it’ll be played in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. Cleveland started off the season losing only 2 of their first 15 games. They’re currently on a 3 game losing streak which has made the Cavaliers frustrated. They’ve lost to the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers and Chicago Bulls. In the last 3 games the common issue has been their defense, rebounding and turnovers. They’ve allowed an average of 114 points per game while being out rebounded every game. They’ve also averaged about 16 turnovers on top that. Obviously those numbers are not a recipe for success. We all know the Cavaliers are a better team than this. Almost every team in the NBA goes through a slump over an 82 game season. They will be looking to end this losing streak with a win in Toronto.

While the Cavaliers are struggling, the Toronto Raptors have been clicking on all cylinders. The Toronto Raptors are currently on a six-game winning streak. They recently beat the Atlanta Hawks 128-94. The Raptors outscored the Hawks 42-14 in the fourth quarter.

Clearly the Raptors have been playing better basketball than the Cavaliers in the last few games but, this game will be a good test for both teams. The Raptors want to beat the Eastern Conference champs, while the Cavaliers want to get back on track against their Eastern Conference foe. If there is ever a chance for the Raptors to beat the Cavaliers it’s now.As long as they keep to the same game plan as in their previous games they should be just fine. The Cavaliers need to focus on less turnovers and more rebounds. The last thing the Cavaliers need to do is beat themselves.

This game should be fun to watch. Both games this season have been really close. The Raptors are favored by about 2 points. Having home court advantage should make things a little easier. Although it’s tough to see the Cavaliers lose 4 in a row, the Raptors have been playing so well as of late. Memphis was a good test but the Cavaliers will be the toughest test for them. It’ll definitely be tough but with extra motivation to beat the Cavaliers having not done so this season, I like the Raptors to beat the Cavaliers at the Air Canada Centre.

Prediction: Raptors win 109-107 to extend their winning streak to 7
